Articles
MicroMega is an Italian magazine of culture, politics, science and philosophy, founded in March 1986. It has been edited by Paolo Flores d'Arcais since the first issue and has been supported by Cinzia Sciuto since December 2022.
Today it is the most important Italian magazine for cultural and political in-depth analysis and tries to give voice to the hope for a 'mass Action Party' but also for an 'enlightened' left, against the aberrations of political correctness and contempt for science.
Authors who have written for MicroMega include Umberto Eco, Norberto Bobbio, Susan Sontag, Angela Davis, Andrea Camilleri, Paul Auster, Michael Walzer, Barbara Spinelli, Abraham Yehoshua, Ralf Dahrendorf, Richard Rorty, Massimo Cacciari, Juergen Habermas, Paul Ricœur, Judith Butler, Marc Augé, Manuel Vázquez Montalbán, Jonathan Franzen, Antonio Tabucchi, Stefano Benni, Noam Chomsky, Roberto Esposito, Barbara Ehrenreich, Zygmunt Bauman, Fernando Savater, Margherita Hack, Telmo Pievani and many others.
